I'm very disappointed .....
at not one democratic candidate supporting Dennis Kucinich and his ballsy attempt to uphold our constitution and have a full impeachment investigation of the V.P.

All standing at their podiums like total suck-up wimps.

1. Except Gravel.
I'm not quite sure they don't support Kucinich in their heart....They just can't seem to get out of the "Safe Mode", business of a campaign.

5. I thought he did great.
His response was one of the high-points of the entire debate. More important than other candidates' responses was that all of the public watching the debate got to hear him explain why he is doing this.

13. Yes, he cleared that up for everyone ....
It's on the record now with a clear, rational explanation. It can be replayed too if the media pundits wish to actually preform real journalism and discussion.

8. Why should they when he couldn't convince even on Democratic member of Congress to cosponsor it?
It's obviously just a political stunt to try to jump start his flagging campaign, not a serious effort to impeach.

12. It's no stunt. Thats a RW talking point
What it is is a serious question about the courage of the Democratic frontrunners to actually to make a change or play it safe and just talk tough sometimes. Dennis Kucinich actually has courage and he is now the candidate I support, even though he doesn't have a chance. Sometimes you have to do whats right not what's the safest or most popular.

17. The fact that not one single Democrat in Congress will cosponsor this
is a sign that it is political farce. Not even Barbara Lee or Maxine Waters is supporting it. Are they followers of RW talking points?

20. Barbara Lee was the only member of the House to vote againt the war in Afghanastan
That took a lot of balls to do a few days after 9/11. Even Kucinich voted to give Bush the power to wage war then.

37. First I know next to nothing about her but I do know the area pretty well,
and while she certainly doesn't have to worry about losing to a Republik challenger, she knows that if she loses the favor of the Democratic Party Power Brokers and they run another candidate against her, there is a very real possibility that she would indeed lose her seat.

As I said they are more concerned about their own jobs than the good of the country.

38. She is one of the most liberal members of the House
She was the only member of Congress to vote against authorizing the use of military force against Afganastan after September 11. She is no shrinking violet.

40. Which has nothing to do with what I said.
I've no doubt that she could make it a fight, but if the Democratic Party Machine of NoCal, actively worked against her, she might very well lose, something she currently doesn't have to worry about at all.

Similar to Obama's new attitude once he got "the talk" after his primary (or maybe it was before the actual primary, but after it was clear he would win).

35. And yet people EVERYWHERE are calling for impeachment.
Never before in my almost 60 years on this planet have I seen so many people pushing for impeachment...from lonely citizens, to city councils, to state legislatures...there's talk of impeachment EVERYWHERE on the ground.

Yet those who are supposed to REPRESENT our views in congress remain mute.

Kucinich is a courageous statesman who LISTENS to the people, and actually gives a damn what's best for his country, as opposed to what's best for his "image" or his pocketbook.

29. It's not a deal breaker for me...
Pelosi and Reid are going to spend the next year and half smacking Bush and Cheney further into the ground. The Repuke voters will be so depressed and disillusioned, they'll stay home in droves. Why stir up the Republican base and run the risk of alienating the Independent voters by bringing Articles of Impeachment?

The Repukies will leave office with close to single digit approval numbers I predict. We'll be looking great going into the election.
