Question on attendance of the "Tea Party Convention"
How many of the 600 or so in paid attendance had their tickets bought for them by their boss?

Here's what I mean, I worked in the corporate world for a few ugly years of my life -and yes, it still gives me nightmares when I think about it too much- I found myself going to sales seminars, motivational get-aways and all sorts of things like that. Hell, one time I had to sit through speeches from Rudy Giuliani and Suze Orman on the same day. It was shortly after that I knew I must find my own way in the world, but I digress.

Here's what I'm asking, in simple terms, how many folks are there on the payroll, because they have to be?

How would we find out?

1. I would say it's unlikely, since this is a political convention
but as you know there are no rules any more.

2. 600 in attendance. Flea markets beat that before 6am.

4. not surprised 600 teabag suckers could scrape up the cash to attend

credit cards cheerfully accepted, I suppose. But I doubt they have bosses--they probably are the bosses. For what it's worth. If bosses did it there'd be lots more in attendance. Actual bosses don't like the Teas, because they encourage independence and gawd knows we can't have that in the workplace.

5. That's a good point.
I've been at seminars with more people in attendance.
