I hope someone posts a link to the video today. Ed went off in a passionate way about health care. He is in my state of Hartford,CT and he went off script,speaking from the heart. Voice cracking,face turning red,and talking to the viewer one on one. Spoke with passion about his guilt for wearing a $1700 dollar suit and a $150 tie when people there would use that $1700 he spent on a suit for health care.He was not reporting, the man was speaking from his heart. Something I NEVER see TV anchors or pundits do nowadays with so much honesty and frustration. People can say what they will about Ed Shultz,but the man tonight spoke from his heart and it was rare and beautiful

31. I think you should apologize to everyone on the list for stubborn insensitivty about

something that is not new on DU - people who are on the internet are not ALWAYS next to a tv - and remember this - NOT EVERYONE is fortunate enough to have a tv, some people don't have cable/satellite, and some don't want a tv. Additionally, some people don't even have a computer - they go to the library or a store that offers access on the store's computer. The library and the stores don't usually offer tv. All clear? I'm serious about an apology. I don't give a darn about myself - but I think the list deserves one. You were the one to yell 'Fire' in your subject line - now it's time to put out the secondary fire you started.
