Republicans Uncertain Over Who Should Challenge Obama in 2012

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/03/republicans-uncertain-challenge-obama/

A new poll shows Republican voters are deeply divided over who they want to carry the party mantle in the 2012 presidential race. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin leads the pack, a couple other names are close behind and a whopping 42 percent of Republicans are listed as undecided.

The numbers suggest the 2012 presidential primary is any Republicans' game. Republicans are expecting to pick up a lot of seats in the congressional midterm elections, buoyed by success in the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial elections last year, and the Massachusetts Senate election last month. But while President Obama's approval ratings have dropped significantly since he took office, it's unclear who would be up to the task of challenging him.

The survey was conducted by Research 2000, a non-partisan firm that polls for the liberal Web site Daily Kos. It surveyed 2,003 Republicans between Jan. 20 and Jan. 31.

The poll showed Palin with 16 percent support, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with 11 percent and former Vice President Dick Cheney with 10 percent.

11. Run Sarahcuda Run!
Hours of entertainment we can believe in!
And when she sinks like a stone in the general election, Palin will be branded LOSER and therefore untouchable for future presidential consideration.

3. I think a GOP primary with Palin in it would be very ugly indeed.
Especially if Jeb were in the pack, too.

6. The Republican Presidential Primary should be a real hoot.
I wonder how many she can say are palling around with terrorists or some other hideous attack on their character. I expect Levi will be offered big bucks for the information he has about her. Levi may be a millionaire in the very near future..

It would be a 50 state landslide.

29. Her fans are getting fewer and fewer

A lot of them are unhappy about her support for the profit making from the tea party conference and her other money making grifts.

By 2012 she'll be just a tiny footnote in political history.

22. Sarah's supporters would expect the president
to treat her with kid gloves. All she would do is throw out personal attacks because you know she doesn't know any of the issues. In the beginning Biden was expected to be nice to her nothing harsh. And, she would avoid answering the questions anyway. By the time she got through hissing, inhale/exhaling and winking it would be a disaster. Gawd, I would have to go to a bar and have some drinks. I don't drink but I would start.

12. Could someone please explain why Republican's opinions are valued?
I would think that poll released the other day would be definitive proof the party of no is full of batshit crazies. And why are we supposed to care what batshit crazy people think?

At least they look like a laugh. And they have to be more intelligent than her, on average. And they've stuck at being Vikings, rather than quitting.
