1. Obama is correct... Congress is allowing itself to be manipulated by b.s.
and Shuster, well, I like him. I get his point, but I think he missed Obama's.

2. He probably wants to keep his job, so doesn't have much choice.
His masters (General Electric/Comcast) have other interests to protect, and other agendas to serve besides just reporting the news.

I agree with Obama, though. The M$M is doing a pitiful job of covering the news.

3. Since when does FOX News constitute "news?"
If it weren't for that courtroom victory against Jane Akre and Steve Wilson, I'd suggest that FOX be sued for mislabelling its product.

4. That was truly pathetic. Obama said the cable news channels and blogs spend too much time
focusing on how everything effects everyone politically AND not enough time focused on what would really help the American people. He said Democratic Congresspeople need to focus on that - what will help people - and spend less time on the inside game - what will help them politically.

MSNBC - the only station he did NOT mention, he mentioned CNN and Faux - acted like unbelievable assholes (Shuster) by immediately leaving the Q & A portion.

10. I turned off cable news a long time ago
Unfortunately my retired father who lives with me watches it, so I can't always get away from it.

11. MSNBC wonders why nobody watches them
By day they want to act like Fox News 2, by night they want all the liberals to tune in and listen to the progressive side bash the President.
