1. As a Hoffman supporter, I always expected Giannoulis to win
It's still got a ways to go though. Wow was voter turnout low: I'm reading 12%?

5. I voted Hoffman but either one is going to mean a LOT of ground work.
You should see the guy running for us in IL 6th. Even the Trib doesn't like Roscam but the
Dems couldn't round up a single strong candidate to go up against him.

6. Quinn is trouncing Hynes in Chicago ... with 78% of votes in
It's 54.46% to 45.54%. Don't know whether that will hold statewide.

7. Hynes is currently leading Quinn
in Madison County (SW IL)

Hynes has 5549 votes
Quinn has 3126 votes

Be interesting to see if Hynes wins across downstate.
