Did the Patriotism Pigs ever kick down YOUR door?

I was busted several time in the years following nine eleven by the patriotism pigs, and the people who kicked in my door were actually former friends, and I had no clue that they were members of the Patriotism Pigs.

Immediately following the attacks, I began to openly blame the asshole republicans, particularly bush and cheney for bringing this attack on, and allowing, and then exploiting the hell out of it, and I was attacked roundly as an America hater and terrorist sympathizer by once trusted pals, now Patriotism Pigs.

They spread the word about me and I'd hear about it later, about how I'd cracked up when nine eleven happened, I just lost my mind and started saying ugly, untrue things. I'd mention the bush family and the Bin Laden family's decades long business connections and they'd not only give me the crazy look, I'd get a stern lecture about my blood pressure and mental health.

I don't see any of the Patriotism Pigs anymore, none, they've either retreated or gone underground, or I'm just not in the right circles. It never bothered me all that much to be called unpatriotic, usually I'd laugh aloud, but it was always meant as an insult of course.

They're still out there, but no one takes them serious anymore as they call anyone who hates this idiotic war a traitor, terrorist sympathizer, cut and runner, coward, defeatist, all the usual stupid school yard names, but they are becoming few and diluted, and they are sounding increasingly more delusional.

All in all I find myself in much less hostile territory lately. . .(Due in large part to the courage of fearless truth-tellers!)

3. I caused some ripples. among the people I was around at the time, but they still had some minimum

sense of dignity and didn't do anything as stupid as call me unpatriotic or report me or anything. I was the only really political one of the bunch, too, so they knew I'd skewer them if they parroted some right-wing talking point equating loving America with grovelling before Bush.
