31. I had the same thought...
I don't think one should make fun of people for the way they look, especially in a picture, because anyone can take a bad pic, but for christ's sake don't post it on your website! The guy looked at the pic and thought "yeah, that's the one. That's the image I want to project". Holy cow...

And not everyone who gets the munchies overeats. I know dozens of skinny potheads... most are professionals with six-figure salaries... many with large bowls of fruit and bags of granola:)

24. I hope it gets on the ballot and passes. Here in Ky I'd be happy to see the
state allow farmers to grow industrial hemp. Medical Marijuana should be legal too.

The tobacco industry still has clout even though they have to the most part abandoned us. They are stopping Industrial hemp because as long as the farmers don't have another cash crop, big tobacco will have a measure of control over them. And they won't give up that control until they no longer need Kentucky Burley.

Recreational use? I can't afford it anyway. SSI doesn't give much room for "discretionary" spending. It would save our state a bundle of money if they decriminalized it.

25. Save a bundle, and get a bundle of tax money too...
I don't get the tobacco industry. Hemp and med-i-juana seem to be a natural crop for them to start growing. They have the land and the industrial infrastructure. They could let tobacco die its long painful death... stop pushing to kids, etc.

I can't afford it either, but I'd rather see someone smoking a joint or eating a brownie than drinking alcohol.

down and forced the hill people into a different line of work: running meth labs.

13. Heard an ominous report on NPR yesterday about the convention
the teabaggers are getting ready for in Nashville. Apparently some big name GOP speakers are dropping out of the event because of ethics and financial questions. It appears there is something to the charges against the baggers pulling some sort of scam.

They originally wanted to charge $549 bucks a person to attend the stupid thing (!!!) but because of lax ticket sales and the ethics fracass, they dropped it to $349.

and they've already collected $400. Wonder how much of that came from the Farm Bureau sponsor or from the 153 members? I guess they ARE fiscally responsible lol.
