Your kids could be part of the new D.C. MLK jr National Memorial.

Your kids can be part of the new Washington DC Martin Luther King JR National Memorial Project. If their essay, art, or video entry is selected, they will be recognized on a trip to Washington, D.C.

This project will connect with the nations much like the Penny raising project for the Statue Of Liberty. It's a wonderful idea that will include lessons taught about the history changing life of Martin luther King Jr.

I would hope that the all schools and would embrace this ambitious collaboration.

Check it out and ask your teachers and if they have it included in their history, social studies, or community good works curriculums.
