For me, it was the support for the community banks to lend locally over the banksters nolube fucking us globally.

What arcane little detail did you cheer for?

13. Yes, that was a great one!
I was so nervous for Obama before he arrived, but what a great job he did. When you stop and think of all the criticism he's had, no cooperation from the Repugs and everyone jerking him around, how can he come out and be so calm and cool? He's amazing.

He made the Repugs (or they did it to themselves) look like total jerks and junior high school clowns. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The SC decision for a very specific reason.
Edited on Wed Jan-27-10 10:55 PM by SemiCharmedQuark
Polls showed that the majority of people approved of that decision. I have always felt that Obama has an aversion to conflict. But there was absolutely no hesitation this time: he told them they were wrong and that it was up to Congress to fix it, DESPITE what the polls said.

by insisting on a 60-vote Senate supermajority in order to get jack-anything passed.

Editing to add: Also, the parts where he said he's letting the Bush tax cuts die and also (allegedly) pushing to repeal DADT. But we shall see.
