Republicans Disrespect The Office Of The President
with this fake and phony stagecrafted wannabe "2nd State Of The Union" with its made up audience trying to make it look like they're on equal footing revels how little respect they have for the office of the president, and for specifically the first black president.

you wouldn't see republicans doing this beforehand but like they said, they want to "break" obama, they want to make things his "waterloo."

this was campaigning, this was trying to belittle the stature of the president, and they know it.

in other words.

War has officially been declared.

2. No disrespect for our Virginia citizens, but really did they
have to chose the capital of the Confederacy for the republican response to our first African American president? (and if you are from VA, please know I love your state, but the symbolism of this response hits a bad note, IMHO).

3. So do a lot of people who post on DU !
What more can I say? We need a new emoticon......one with it's head up it's ass!!! Tonight, as ever, I was extremely proud of my President!! He hasn't let this 71 year old broad down yet, because I have a lot of patience! The Dem. party is sure letting me down though, so it's time for me and the rest of us who care, to roll up our sleeves and help him get the job DONE!!

4. What a joke. His own partisan fan club clapping. And the careful staging of Black attendees.
I really barfed when he made a comment on education and they showed a close up of a young Black teen.

I haven't seen that many Black faces on a repub stage ever.
