I'm know I am writing the obvious here. I am beginning to think that waiting around for republicans to vote for ANYTHING is just a delay tactic. I hope the president proves me wrong.

Why would I have to hold my president's hand and walk him through fairly recent history in this country, to make the point? When the Thugs had power, was there bipartisanship? Uh, no. They put the truck in first and spun out over the faces of the Democrats and ramrodded anything their lord and master GWB wanted. So now we feel compelled to reach across the aisle and revive the tattered corpse of "bipartisanship"?

You've got to be fucking kidding me. Mr. President, put it in first....rev the engine....and drive over their faces. That's all we ask. You will not get second and third chances to figure this out!
