He'll have to tell it to a Judge if he intends to use the "prank" defense.

Imagine if he was an 18 year old African American trying to put a wiretap in some GOP Senator's office. Would that be considered a prank? Thought not.

of war. Yeah that prank defense should get him real far. He's lucky they aren't charging him with treason.

17. Wasn't it Henry Hyde who had the same excuse?
He had a four year affair with someone else's wife when he was in his 40's and claimed it was "youthful indiscretion". ......Then Bush gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

9. They all have heavy political connections - it wasn't a 'prank'
Stan Dai "helped run a "Defense Department regional defense counterterrorism/irregular warfare program" and then became assistant director of the Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence at Trinity Washington University, which prepares undergraduates for careers in intelligence."

Robert Flanagan is the son of Louisiana US Attorney who is running things while his Bush appointed boss is about to be replaced by an Obama pick.

These guys are connected. And it will be interesting to find out who was directing or funding them.

31. So true.
This is what makes it clear that it is an intelligence operation funded and probably created by Murdoch, and Rove and maybe even the U.S. Attorney in Shreveport, Flanagan. It is another Watergate, no matter how the right tries to spin it.

We all know if the tables were turned and this was a Repug Senator office - that the Repugs would be all over the MSM wanting to put these people in jail and wanting a full investigation. Where are the Dems? How come we have not heard any statements from the Dems?

19. Can you imagine the outrage if Michael Moore tried to tap Sen. McConnell's office phones?
There'd be calls for his execution as a traitor from FAUX news.

On the facts alone, they're in DEEP FEDERAL trouble. And I'm talking MULTIPLE FELONIES. Anyone who uses the "prank" defence should get laughed out of court right before sentencing.

Luckily I don't think this is the kind of case that is usually decided by a jury of Fox News watching idiots, is it?

32. I realize republicans operate at a certain mental deficiency; but in O'Keefe's case it is pronounced
At 25 years old - for O'Keefe to be willing to be treated like the republican party's pasty-ass, pimped out Lee Harvey Oswald gimp-in-a-box has to be an indicator of a protein/nutrition starved childhood & lifestyle, especially by the looks of him. These are not normal people,

Something has made them very strange
