He mentioned Avatar in his monologue. That's recent. He mentioned the chihuahua thing. That's fairly recent.

On the flip side, some reruns are just weeks old, so I'm not sure.

9. While that was disappointing,

Letterman, himself, was very good. It was very cool to see him in person. He's extremely cordial to the audience, comes out before the taping and greets everyone, answers questions, and then came out after the show to thank everyone for coming, not necessary, but very nice. :-)

The studio's also much smaller than it looks like on TV, so you can see everything that's going on. It's also very chilly, think Dave must run hot, LOL, since he takes off his jacket during the breaks, while the crew runs around in heavy sweaters and parkas. :shrug: :D
