Anyone recognize Dick Cheney as the dentist Szell in the 1976 movie Marathon Man?

Tonight was old movie/NetFlix night. Our pick was Marathon Man with Dustin Hoffman, 1976.

If you haven't seen it, please do. I want to know whether the character Szell reminds you of Dick Cheney.

Laurence Olivier as Cheney.

I had not seen the movie until tonight.

Don't you think that Szell played by Olivier is Dick Cheney?

I wonder if Cheney was inspired by Olivier's character in that film?
