Poll question: What to do about Healthcare Reform now?
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 07:16 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
I have limited the choices to things that could possibly happen at this point in time.
Medicare for all via reconciliation ain't gonna happen.
Public option ain't gonna happen.
And so on.

1. They can pare it down all they want but Repubs won't vote for it.
Maybe if they pare it down to just tort reform, Olympia Snowe might vote for it. Maybe.

2. Yeah... that's kind of shocking
Joe Biden needs to tell Obama that story again about how if you get knocked down by a bully, bloody the guy's nose so you can show your face in the neighborhood.

3. Just as Gibbs admitted today they were surprised by the Ma Election,
bulldozing ahead on this issue when the polls show more and
more people against it, can be interpreted as arrogant.

It might be wise to take 24 hrs -49hrs totally away from the
HIR Issue. Cool down and think things through. It just might
be better to take a hit now and start working to recuperate
losses than perhaps have us suffer great losses in 2010 elections.
