Former religiously-motivated runaway teen Rifqa Bary is now in foster care/counseling
Ultimately, the question of how to heal the deep rift between Fathima Rifqa Bary and her parents was too big for a courthouse.

Six months to the day since she ran away from home, Rifqa and her parents agreed yesterday in Franklin County Juvenile Court to stop arguing.

They decided that Rifqa would not move back home, at least for now, and they agreed that they would try to solve their problems with counseling.

Rifqa, who is 17, admitted she was unruly in running away from home in July, fleeing to Florida and the home of a married pastor couple. She will not be punished with any sanctions, such as fines or community service, for that admission.

Bary is the Ohio teenager who converted from Islam to Christianity and then fled to Florida to live with a pastor and his wife. Last summer there was a major custody dispute between her parents and "new" family. She accused her Muslim parents of threatening to do an honor killing for her religious conversion. Her parents have consistently said they still love their daughter regardless. Two independent investigations found no solid evidence backing her claims.

Lesson learned, kids? You can't just make shit up about your parents if you hate 'em so that you can get the state to spoil you. Instead, you'll be the fool.

1. Has anyone looked into the pedophile history of this "pastor" and his "wife" - they fit
the profile of cultists who exploit children for their own use.

The similarity to the Mormons and other cults is too marked to ignore.
