NBC news helping frame the war issue for Republicans - 'strong' vs 'weak'

I watched NBC news last night here in Hong Kong and saw a piece on Rudy Guiliani campaigning in New Hampshire. The only quote they provided was this position on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan:

"The best way we remain safe and we retain our freedom ... is remaining on offense, remaining strong and not becoming weak in a time of pressure."

He emphasised strong and weak as I have in bold, by stressing them and pausing slightly just after them, as if he knew this would be the televised soundbite.

Watch for this new framing association between "Bush strategy/surge = strong" and "anyone else = weak"

I googled it this morning to get the exact quote. Here it is:
