1. That is what makes me sad...
Teddy fought for so many things for so many people.

Health care was one of them.

Now there's someone in his former seat who apparently doesn't give two shits about health care.


I feel like my state has given Teddy a postmortem slap in the face. :(

2. I think something people are not seeing in this whole mess is that-
Teddy wasn't re-elected time and time again simply because he was an incumbent, or that he was a "Kennedy", or that he never had any viable competition- He was continually reelected because he was an eloquent, dedicated, persuasive leader who had a heart for the people he represented and the good of this country. No easy shoes to fill-

Brown didn't have to appeal to those who understood this, Coakley did and she seems to have come up short- sadly.
