Primary everyone. Remove Kaine. Clean house.
No need for purity tests, but let's get our sorry excuse for a party back in gear.

1. I don't want to primary either my senator who's up for re-election or my rep
so no thanks. I'm all for getting rid of Kaine though- even if he is just a figure head.

2. Why Kaine?
Bob Menendez is head of the DSCC.

But I don't even blame him. I blame the Democratic Party of Massachusetts, who didn't go out to vote in the primaries, who put up (another) disinterested candidate, like they did when they ran Shannon O'Brien against Mitt Romney and lost.

And I blame fate: MA has always voted to balance their Dem-heavy state government with a high-ranking Republican. Deval Patrick was the first Dem governor elected there since 1986. Teddy's seat had been taken for 47 years. So this was the only chance for the MA voters to "balance" their state with a Republican. They did it. Not Tim Kaine, not Rahm Emmanuel, not even Bob Menendez. Massachusetts Dems have no one to blame but themselves.

4. Tim Kaine is an anti equality bigot
Who opposes any form of family rights for millions of Democratic voters. MA is famously the first in marriage equality. Many people are rejecting the current DLC style Party.

5. And that's why they elected a right-wing conservative in MA
Something tells me you didn't pass your Intro to Logic course with flying colors.

3. Coakley won the primary. Didn't work out so well though.
