The DLC has come home to Roost and THEY lost tonight's election
People are Pissed on BOTH sides of the isle no matter how you spin it and it is ALL because the DLC's Corporatist Policies

No New Wall St. Regulations - even after tax payers Bailed Out $700Billion of Credit Default Swaps
Healthcare Reform is little more then a Corporate Give Away to Health Insurance Companies with TAXES for Hard Working Middle Class Americans
Banks refuse to loan TARP funds to Small Businesses effictively sinking hopes of jobs or economic recovery for Millions of Americans

This ain't "Asleep at the Wheel" its Corporate Give aways

You Bet - the Swing Voters are Swinging

40. Yeah, the people are deluded for being pissed at the current state of this country
Unemployment still at high levels, messages all over the map on Healthcare, giveaways to bankers and execs, the redistribution of wealth keeps going to the top 1%.

I'd say people are ready to throw all of the bastards in Washington out and replace them with whoever is running against them. I can't say I blame them either, but the reality is that until we do something about the corporate masters controlling our government, each new person we send to Washington is not going to be much different than the last (no offense to Ted Kennedy, who was a great Senator and Statesman).

44. Even Ben Bernake said the policies of the past FAILED
So why not at least regulate Credit Default Swaps?

That is why Hard Working Americans feel they have been sold out. We gave them $700Billion so why not provide us assurances it won't happen again.

BTW: $1Billion is more then a whole town of America's Hard Working Middle Class will see in a life time

Strange as that idea may seem to you. But you might as well get used
to it before November when that idea will "go viral" nationwide.

10. Here's what they aren't getting: You are supposed to 'piss off' the other side.
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 09:52 PM by Edweird
You 'piss off' the other side by giving your side what they want. Then your side supports you. When you abandon your own side, you fuck yourself. The other side will never support you. No matter how bad Obama fucks us, republicans will NEVER EVER like him or vote for him. If he doesn't straighten up and fly right, he's headed for disaster. Of course, the DLC morons will tell him to 'move right'.....

She was the Rahm/Kaine/Corporatist pick. She embodies everything the DLCers love in a politician. A milquetoast, unprincipled, team player.

39. They are already blaming this on the left - and have been for a few days now
The people are just pissed at the status quo in Washington that seemingly never changes, even when there's a shift in power. Give it a term, and the people of Mass. will be ready to throw Brown out for being just another corporate whore in Washington.

We'll see more of this in November if the party doesn't get their heads out of their asses and start tackling the issues that people care about - and provide a clear message when doing it.

49. They will not make those course corrections.
You can already sense that in the way Obama said today, 'let's wait to reform health care until after Brown is seated; he has to be part of the process.'

Relatedly, his political inexperience is so painfully obvious, that it's hard to take him seriously sometimes.
