Repubs NEVER have an answer to "Why don't you grab a rifle & fight"?
Like yesterday on cspan some repub senator blow hole was asked this very question, "If you are so gung freakin' ho for war why the hell don't you enlist and go directly to the front lines and engage our enemies"? He answered in an unintelligible rambling, slow mo stutter, and then added, "I agree with your point completely".

He NEVER DID say why he, a physically fit grown man can't do what all the other soldiers have done, he just faded off like all the other chicken shit chicken hawks. He also said it was a good thing that older soldiers can now enlist as well as young ones.

And the second part of this question is, "Are any of YOUR sons or daughters enlisted in this, the greatest calling of our generation"? And of course, all you can hear is crickets.

Poser pansies all.

9. Absolutely right!
If Republicans fought in wars, who would be left to complain about NPR?

2. I think Michael Moore was one of the first with a media platform to ask this, in F9/11 when
he produced the enlistment forms for the Republican congressman.

Comedy gold.

13. The Saudis own the two 'executive' thugs in the WH; oil, well and barrel.........
Edited on Wed Apr-25-07 09:02 AM by Double T
When the Saudis summon their WH 'executive' minions for a verbal tongue lashing, they rush to bow before their masters. Oil barons and kings rule while everything else is overlooked, including WHO attacked 'US' on 9/11.

5. Why is it that most folks in the military now are Republican, and yet
barely a handful of elected Republicans have ever served? Why does the GOP have a military-freindly reputation, when it has been anything but?

8. Because there is no answer
They know they've been had when that point comes up, so they change the subject.

Because the answer is that they know there is no real threat to the U.S., they just like following the war - it's entertainment - or they believe the oil has to be secured and they don't want to admit that, and that they don't want to be the ones to do what they think so necessary.

11. A few months ago there was a thread about some young republican
who answered that he could do more good working here with the republican party than fighting in Iraq. :eyes: :grr: :puke:
Yeah, working hard to set himself up with a cushy lobbyist job for the MIC for 6 figures - fucking little two faced coward.
