Michael Savage's ultimate gaffe tonight
He dedicated his show to the marines, starting off with the Marine National Anthem, followed by praise for the 9 marines of the 82nd Airborne who lost their lives in Iraq yesterday.

Republican chickenhawks says it all.

1. There is no greater insult to a soldier
than to be called a marine and vice versa.

4. I know. I learned that lesson from my Marine nephew.
It is pathetic that Savage didn't know that. But he's just a GOP chickenhawk. He, Cheney, Bush, etc don't do war or the military. Thats for others. You would think they would have the decency to know the correct titles.

aren't Army.

6. But if a bear farts in the woods, is anybody there to hear it?
First, the Marines (that'd be us) don't have a "National Anthem." We have the Marine Corps song.

Secondly, calling a soldier a Marine would be a compliment. Not so much the other way.

Lastly, does anybody still listen to this cretin? I read one of his books once. I felt like I needed a shower afterwords. Hopefully, someday someone will realize what a polarizing piece of shit he is and kick him off the air.

Semper Fi. Carry on.

11. Savage was the one who said it was the Marine National Anthem
Secondly, I respect all military the same. But you sound like the normal Marine. My nephew is one of them.

I enjoy laughing at Savage and his callers.

12. I respect them all the same
I am just saying I have a friend that is a soldier and if you called him a marine he would be pissed, but not as pissed as he would be if you called him a sailor. He said that he would rather have a daughter in a whorehouse than a son in the Navy.

23. Hey, Hey, HEY...HM1 Doc "J" Says GO NAVY.
Sailors at least have enough BRAINS to take along a dry cot, good hot food, and enough steel to stop most bullets when they go out to fight.

And I'll put a good Seal Team (OR Marine Recon unit) up against AIRBORNE any day. Don't you know that the only thing that falls out of the sky is bird shit or Airborne? TROOP?

14. this guy is a fake and a fraud
I have probably listened to 4 hours of him, and have also read a number of transcripts and interviews. This Michael "Savage" Weiner is a fake, fraud, unfunny joke and I refuse to believe that regular people actually listen to his crap. I'd boycott any company that would advertise on his show.

I have no problem with anyone saying anything they want, but I don't want my money to pay for a fake, fraudulent, disgusting and bigoted show like this "Savage Weiner" guy. Gross, please we all have enough BS to deal with.
