Health care: No fireworks at Sen. Ensign's Reno town hall

More than 100 people tuned* out Tuesday night for a health care town hall meeting hosted by U.S. Sen. John Nevada at the University of Nevada, Reno, where both proponents and opponents of a pending bill praised the atmosphere.

Ensign said he came to Reno in hopes of local residents contacting their friends and neighbors in other states or areas in hopes of getting some swing Democrats in Congress to change their votes.

Ensign said he supports health care reform but said the proposed bill in its current from is not the answer.

Unlike health care town halls last year in other states, Tuesday's event was calm with only one person raising a voice.

John, thank you so very much for advertising this meeting - not. I truly appreciate your openness to input from the residents of Nevada that elected you, but due to the way your advertised your meeting, I was unable to attend. I am not judging you on your personal issues, however, I am truly disappointed in your personal decisions. I am just truly concerned that you are not listening to us. It's too bad that you couldn't keep it in your pants, because you had a bright future. I only with Harry would have some open meetings that we could express our concerns to him, but at least he kept it in his pants. I also appreciate Dean Heller's call for his phone meeting - not.

Why can't these people realize that they are our employees, and that we are not theirs?

2. Ensign says the current bill isn't the answer?
No coverage for mistresses? No reimbursement for hush money to cuckolded husbands?
