So... How much is Sarah's payoff from News Corp.?
And what are the terms?

It's my belief that Rupert Murdoch is simply giving the woman a nice bonus for all the revenue she's generated for Fox and the other News Corp properties. Don't forget, her book was published by HarperCollins, which is owned by News Corp.

So now she's going to be a "contributor" to Fox?
What does this mean, she's going to sit in front of a camera 4 times a year and read something that was written for her and get a million bucks?
Does anybody have any idea what the terms of her contract are?

I say it's nothing but a payoff for the controversy she's generated, and we all know that controversy = eyeballs...

4. You can call Levi a lot things
but you can't call him a deadbeat dad!

both actions are pretty smarmy.

8. One's a young man cashing in on his 15 minutes.
The other is a political figure who has been using her positionless folksy appeal to further herself politically and financially all the while further pushing so called "conservatives" to be brink of what they never wanted to devolve into.

I'd say there's a large difference in the ends...not the means.

The only reason she came in second place was because she was on the Republican ticket. Even then, it was less than 40% of the electoral votes and lost by nearly 10 million votes. (over 8 percentage points)

They could had won Florida, Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina and still lost.

She should have never gotten that close to the white house, period.

3. Another example of great minds thinking alike!
Obviously the book sold so well, she has to "work off" the rest of her alleged five-million-dollar advance to News Corp!

6. I don't think News Corp is worried...
...about recouping its advance.

She has generated SO MUCH income for them in the past year and a half.
All those eyeballs glued to all those Fox News reports featuring Sarah.
She's been a one woman content generator.

Does anyone know how much her contract with the "news division" is for?

10. Maybe they haven't told her what 'contributor' means.
And that she'll be paying THEM to be on the air!

If they are smart, though, they wrote the contract with a clause that makes her give back everything they paid her if she quits before the end of the contract period. That's almost a 'gimme', with her proven track record of failing to complete what she starts.
