$2400 to attend a fundraising reception for Martha Coakley with Bill Clinton. Who's going?

Rally! This Friday, January 15th, President Bill Clinton & Senator John Kerry will come together for a rally in support of Attorney General Martha Coakley, the Democratic Nominee for U.S. Senate.

There is a fundraising reception from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the St. James Room (ticket price: $2400) and the rally will be from 2:00 to 4:00 in the Grand Ballroom (suggested donation: $50, $150, $500) at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, 138 St. James Avenue, Boston.

This kind of post is insensitive in the extreme given the large number of unemployed DU'ers and given that very few people can afford to part with 10% of that amount for a candidate.
