In case you didn't know, the "Big 4" are the members of the President's Cabinet who wield considerable power, they are:

The Secretary of State
The Secretary of Defense
The Secretary of the Treasury
The Attorney General

In 2000, Bush knew who he was going to nominate for Attorney General even before he entered office, in fact he even nominated him before he got in.

However, would less people have voted for Bush knowing that Ashcroft would be Attorney General, probably.

So, should an organization be created dedicated to finding out who the candidates for 2008 Presidential Election will nominate to the posts that are considered to be the Big 4?

1. All you can do is ask, not look for a pledge
After all, so many circumstances can change between the time someone's running for President and the time he/she is in a position to extend these job offers.

2. I think we need to take a "look-see" at any Presidential appointments
possibly even a vote after the legacy of Michael Brown, Wolfowitz, Bolton, Rice, Gonzo, et al.
Obviously as we have seen, Presidential idealogues do not work anymore and can obviously tear at the fabric of the country.

3. I think they should post a list of possibilities
Yes.

We can then draw our own conclusions as to what their admin will be focusing on. That would help me decide on who to vote for.

4. I think I've been seeing too many Viagra emails
because at first glance, I missed the first inverted commas, and read that title as talking about a Candidate's big four inches ...

5. No, a lot of the people chosen might not be avialable during the election process.
They might be running for another office or working in a campaign.
