6. All of the last 8 months have had an average daily casualty rate over 2.5
In the 41 earlier months of the war there were only 13 months with a rate over 2.5, and there was never a period longer than 2 consecutive months with a rate over 2.5.

It looks like the insurgency has found its groove. Go surge! Bring 'em on!
