What kind of people are these Iraqis?

I will be honest with you. If I were an Iraqi, "Shock and Awe" alone might have so traumatized me that I may have actually been dancing in the streets waving little American flags and throwing rose petals on top of my liberators when they came. But the Iraqis didn't.

We dropped some devastatingly huge amounts of heavy ordinance on to that country in a very short period of time. It am sure it was enough to break some peoples will to fight. That is why it was called "Shock and Awe."

And the Iraqis just dusted themselves off and kept fighting. Think about that.

I will tell you what kind of people I hope the Iraqis are. I hope the Iraqis are the kind of people who will some day be Americas ally. Because I don't see any positives that will ever come from fighting against them.
