Funny thing, though, and I'm assuming this guy might call himself a Christian (since so many of them tend to disbelieve evolution). I bet he reads the Bible - the Old AND NEW Testaments. Perhaps during one of his reading sessions, he's come across the account of Thomas the Apostle, who declared he would NOT believe Jesus had risen from the dead unless he could stick his finger into His wounds and his hand into Christ's side (where it had been pierced by a soldier's lance toward the end of the Crucifixion). Thomas was damned sure it never happened because he hadn't seen it. He, too, couldn't see it happening, so it wasn't real. But everybody else aside from him knew and believed (they had seen, of course, while ol' Thomas was out somewhere else that day), and EVERYBODY ELSE AFTER THEM, who hadn't seen for themselves had only heard about it and still believed. As your friend does with his faith in Christ (assuming, again, that he is a Christian). Since he's never seen Christ, how can he be sure?
