DU this poll
Actually, it's a "most outrageous quote" poll about Fox News.

Option A: "No, this is the Congress at its worst. ... There's a great puff piece about my Senator from Virginia (John Warner) on the front page of the Washington Post, saying 'What do they want us to do in the Senate? Do nothing?' That's absolutely right. Absolutely right. Support the troops. Appropriate the funds. Encourage them. Let Dave Petraeus have a chance to win this war. Don't pass a meaningless resolution that, as Joe Lieberman said, on the one hand is non-binding, so it's meaningless, but symbolically, it could only encourage our enemies." - Bill Kristol, "FOX News Sunday", 1/28/07

Option B: "The funny thing though is, an interesting thing is, you know, she's already starting a slur campaign about, you know, being, the Muslim issue with Barack. About him being a Muslim. If that comes to a height, to a head, I'm just curious how much Spielberg and Katzenberg will endorse him if that really comes out." - Holly McClure using the debunked "Insight" magazine report to claim Hillary Clinton started the story about Barack Obama attending a madrassa, "Your World with Neil Cavuto", 1/25/07

Option C: "I think we have to push...anything we can do to make their economy more difficult for them at this moment is a good thing but let's do it in ways that do not get us into direct conflict with Venezuela if we can get away with it." - Lawrence Eagleburger suggesting we should attempt to destroy Venezuela's economy, "Your World with Neil Cavuto", 1/26/07

Option D: "It is a crime, Chris. And prosecutors every day are presented an array of instances in which they can see a crime. They prosecute a few of them. And it is what is called prosecutorial discretion. It is a critical part of the job which charges to bring and which charges not to bother with. Here, clearly, when you look at the scope of what he was supposed to be investigating, is a case in which he brought forth not something not very major." - Brit Hume attempting to discredit prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, "Fox News Sunday", 1/28/07
