To all of the new found torture supporters

I guess you all feel torturing american soldiers is justified now too? Anytime we bomb a village in Afghanistan some of our soldiers should be kidnapped and tortured? If not then explain to me why its okay for us to torture and not ok for them to torture?

19. Several people have been saying that the panty-bomber needs to be tortured, and

those same people have been "you guysing" and "you bleeding heart liberalsing" all of us who disapprove of torturing such people.

OK, they didn't exactly say "you bleeding heart liberals," but they did accuse anti-torture DUers of wanting to put the panty-bomber up in their basemntsts and take tender care of him, which is pretty much the same thing. I am always suspicious when someone who is supposedly on our team pulls the "you guys" label on the people who support the main ideals and goals of our team. Of course, I am also suspicious when they spout the talking points of the opposite team.

But i guess it also works for bombing. I am perfectly happy believing that it is generally wrong for us to bomb while also believing it is wrong for others to use such techniques as suicide bombings - particularly when the victims of both such attacks are largely civilians.

I am bang up along side bombing legitimate military targets though.

2) we wear uniforms, as per the geneva convention. we don't jump on planes and set off bombs.
