Attorney: PETA Worker Neglected Snakes in His Care
Attorneys for an exotic animal dealer have accused an employee of intentionally neglecting animals to further his work as an undercover investigator for an animal rights group.

Howard Goldman could have done more to provide food, water and care for the animals that he said were being mistreated, said Lance Evans, an attorney for Jasen and Vanessa Shaw, the owners of U.S. Global Exotics.

Instead, Goldman secretly took photos and made daily reports to send to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Evans said.

"He was more concerned about helping PETA achieve its goal of putting U.S. Global out of business than actually aiding any animals that he felt were in distress," Evans said. Goldman worked at the Arlington facility for seven months.

No comment, as my feelings about PETA are well known.

Ingrid Newkirk, head of PETA, backs this guy.

End of argument.

4. The lawyer for the animal dealers under investigation is making this accusation.
Sure, they have no reason to go after the people investigating them.

:eyes:

And yes, your feelings about peta are duly noted.

6. Perish the thought!
Those peta bastards are definitely to blame for the systemic mistreatment of animals entrusted to the loving care of those exotic animal dealers!

*cough*

7. I now see that you saw the very same thing.
I heard that PETA "Secret Santa'd" a shipment of baseball bats to Ringling Bros so they could get more footage of trainers beating the hell out of elephants.

11. Some people say
that undercover peta investigators secretly took jobs at Smithfield and filmed themselves abusing pigs to gain public support for peta.

CCF told me so. Or maybe it was Weston A. Price. Dunno. Someone, though.

12. No lie, PETA once asked me to go to Canada and club seals.
Not just kill them, really REALLY bludgeon them. They wanted the footage of "a typical sealer lusting for the massacre" and they planned it out like an animal rights Scorsese.

9. Yet another ad hominem.
I am by no means the person to defend PETA, but attempting to discredit their message by the actions of some fruitcake that worked for them is, to put it simply, fucking stupid.

But if you want to play that way, I guess I should take it for what it's worth that I'm talking to someone who lists her/his interests as "pets." :eyes:
