There's going to be a statewide meeting in Ann Arbor on Sunday afternoon, February 18, from 2-5, I think. There are three groups -- Oakland County (or Detroit area), Ann Arbor and Lansing area. I think we're going to try to have once-a-month meetings for everyone together, and rotate where they are held. We're going to work that out on the 18th.

And I'm sick of seeing people blowing smoke up our butts about this instead of talking about reality as if this is some sort of high school pep rally. You and the other minions working for algore.org have WORN IT OUT already and I am tired of the intimations that Mr. Gore is just not doing enough for any of you as the man he is now and that the world does not have him now simply because he isn't satisfying your craving for a political campaign as your "anti-Hillary" to give you the rivalry you seek in this BS system that can't even get a cohesive and comprehensive climate change bill signed!

And you tell me just how the hell he is supposed to break the military/ industrial, think tank, media propaganda mentality in Washington DC that has pervaded for over fifty years plus in a year's time, inform all of the ignorant people in this country about this crisis including the 13% who still don't even know what global warming is enough to see the level of true URGENCY we all need to see to DEMAND change on a local, state, and personal moral level (because newsflash for you, NOTHING will happen from Washington DC unless WE DEMAND IT and FORCE them), and actually win a damn election over DIEBOLD and all the other forces working against him behind the scenes? All while wasting MILLIONS of dollars that he could actualy devote to working to solve this crisis (as he is now doing with the proceeds of the book and movie) on BS sound bite political campaign ads and arguing about the PAST which would draw his momentum and focus away from what needs to be done NOW. He sees it, why can't you? You really want him to have to go through all of that shit again? You really want to dump what these bastards have done to this country with our acquiesence in his lap? You NEED HIM? Sorry, but he needs us now, and I don't intend to waste my time harrassing him about running for office EVER AGAIN, because he has been hurt enough, and because he knows what he is doing.

Perhaps being president isn't also all it once was in this country anymore, and frankly, the obsession with it is actually turning me off to discussing or reading anything about this next election because it is nothing more anymore than an ego contest put on by the elites for those who can only afford to sell their souls. I don't want that for Mr. Gore, I want him to be able to be happy beholding to no group but himself and also to be an influencer of political, economic, and environmental policy which he is more than capable of doing as a statesman. And you ask what the hell is wrong with me? With ME? NOTHING is wrong with me. I am thinking realistically because I like others do see the immensity of what we have done and are doing to this planet and that it goes WAY beyond any delusions of grandeur about one election.

I am also respecting Mr. Gore's wishes and helping him with his endeavors and appreciate that he is here for all of us in a BIG WAY NOW. When he greeted those who were selected to learn his slideshow in Nashville, he was emotional and said that he waited for the cavalry and now they are here. He wasn't talking about a draft however, he was talking about people waking up to becoming a part of the solution to this crisis, and I am and will remain part of THAT cavalry. He has done his duty for over a quarter of a century in that BS beltway, and he now continues to do so as a free man, and on that score his options are now limitless and can go way beyond any House on a hill. Again, he knows what needs to be done, and I stand with him.
