Colorado resort legalises cannabis, but not on the ski slopes

It's already being dubbed "the Amsterdam of the Rockies" and an après-ski spliff is likely to become almost as common as a beer when cannabis possession is legalised in the hip mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado, on 1 January.

Well known as a laid-back party resort characterised by baggy-trousered snowboarders and a vigorous happy hour, Breckenridge voted last month to relax marijuana laws.

1. Now, I can't claim to be an expert, but I'd think it be very hard

to ski on pot. Now, under the influence of considerable alcohol, is quite a different story (and far more deadly).

2. Ski? Maybe, snowboarding however...

We always do a little puffin' while boarding and I am known to have a few 'shrooms around too for the aches and pains.
I don't know too many boarder's that don't twist up a few for the chairlift down time.

3. Maybe.... I just recall making one very very laid back & sleepy...

(college days...but, I'm admitting nothing! LOL)

I suspect I'd forget to get off the chairlift!
