Get ready for a four figure (American) reality check, Jasper!

2. He should get a medal
I'm sure if he got billed for medical expenses, private donors would rush in to pay them.

6. I would think that the airline would have something
that automatically covers any medical treatment needed as a result of something that happened on a flight, that did not involve a pre-existing condition. I imagine that people get bumped heads during turbulent flights, leg sprains for climbing up and down boarding stairs, etc., and the airlines do this as a way of keeping lawsuits down.

If I'm wrong, a bill will surely be reported, and contributions would flow his way, most likely from at least one of his fellow passengers. I know I'd kick in a few bucks towards it.
