Well, here's some good news
I just found out that a friend of mine from high school, who used to be a Republican fundamentalist and who told me on more than one occation that I needed to embrace Jesus (and that doing so wouldn't threaten my Jewishness, somehow)... has joined a Barack Obama facebook group!

Score one for our side!

1. More and more fundies
are waking up and reading their Bibles and are realizing Bush is a hypocrite, the people Jesus spoke against.

3. Well, they are finding out
You can praise Jesus, pray to Jesus, preach Jesus, sacrifice for Jesus, and dress up as Jesus, but if you still support these evil madmen in this administration, you are still going to hell. :)

5. My Parents
Both my parents are dead now. They had been conservative for as long as I could remember. In their last few years though...they voted for CLINTON, both times and for Ann Richards. Both my parents were really really smart. They said they just couldn't stand voting for really dumb people any more....<g>

9. It's a her
I don't know what changed her, though. She goes to a conservative Bible school in addition to having been raised in a conservative family etc. She's still a big-time Christian, but evidently no longer a part of the Republican base.
