Uhh...They haven’t been listening for a year. You think a freakin phone call NOW is gonna matter? All Zerobama will do is up the ante out of his Stimulus Slush Fund and buy them off. Get it through your head: THEY DON’T CARE WHAT WE DO NOT WANT. THEY ARE GOING TO PASS THIS BILL, PERIOD. THEY ARE GOING TO PASS AN AMNESTY BILL, PERIOD. And there’s nothing we can do about it. Quit wasting time with phone calls and faxes. These people are playing for keeps. An they plan to keep what they have - the total control of the wheels of the US Government - now and forever.

If that doesn't work, I wonder if Texas (and whoever else) will follow through and secede from the union on the grounds that the federal government has broken its limited-government constitutional agreement with the states, freeing the states from a binding contract?
I’m ready to join any state that by deeds and actions as well as oath will solemnly swear to persevere, protect, and defend the constitution. A mini-American Constitutional Republic. I’ll have to learn how to shoot a musket when the bad guys come. I’m willing to go down fighting for liberty than acquiesce to Marxism. Better Dead than Red. Hope I can finish law school in time.

Agreed!

They have the office. They hold the high ground. Elections have consequences. We need to make arrangements to pay for them.

Time for small business to start laying off about 5,000,000 democrats a month to right size their business. Let’s send Harry, Nancy and Obummer our message that we won’t and can’t pay for their overspending.

Let 2010 be the year to lay a democrat off from business across America.

Then Obampeloseed will just grant a lavish lifestyle income to these laid off demoncrats, who will all the more vote for him. Why ruin a good thing?

Actually I agree with you. Lay off Democrats first. Make them suffer more for the hell they're putting this country through.

Yes, elections have consequences. When Republicans became Democrat-lite (and turned off the conservative base), the liberal Dems were able to siphon off enough voters to take over—and pass their radical agenda. It is no longer about the will of the people. Dark times ahead...

The only enjoyment I will get out of this will be watching the idiots that decided to turn on Obama in 2 weeks after voting FOR him.

I can’t wait for broke Liberal drowned-in-University-debt Joe and Jane to have to start paying for some of this.

Yikes...I'm replying to a guy named Satan.

Speaking of talking to Satan, I often want to help in these phone protests, but my senators are John F'n Kerry and some placeholding puppet named Paul Kirk. Someone at Kerry's office told me the were buried with anti-Shamnesty calls last year...and Kerry voted for it anyway.

Can’t call anyone right now! THE CAPITAL PHONE LINES ARE MELTING DOWN! The main line just rings and rings. Tried calling Chambliss’s office direct and got a weird generic call center message for a mail box system (not his), tried calling Isakson’s office direct and got the voice mail to Mark Warner’s office! Just tried the main line again and got the ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY RECORDING!

Healthcare on Christmas is the Ultimate Devilish Deed. Yeah, this is the time for devilish deeds, to be forgiven after New Years, right? NO ONE MAKE THAT TOAST THIS YEAR!

Time for a new tradition in New Years, and a new toast —

May we never forgive elected tyrants for anything until they are out of office!

Call, fax, email your Senators!

U. S. Senate

--Tell them where you live in their state

--Tell your Senators you want to actually see the bill and that
you are outraged that Senate leaders are forcing their secret
bill to a final vote.

--Tell them you oppose ObamaCare and urge them to vote "NO" on
cloture and the final bill.

--Tell them you oppose the unconstitutional "individual mandate"
and the oppressive taxes in the plan.

this fall has helped me finally understand...

politics is not a line with left and right sides

it's a circle

and if you go far enough in either direction...well, you get the picture

6. Remember a couple of months ago when the GOP was imploding
Sarah Palin's infighting with the McCain campaign was becoming public. Mike Steele was yammering on endlessly. Rush Limbaugh was calling for the president to fail.

I was laughing my ass off at their expense.

I bet they're doing the same to us right now.

Has that person never had a sense of proportion, or did he lose it in a bizarre gardening accident?

Edited on Sat Dec-19-09 02:47 PM by Marr
It's a DLC/Blue Dog bill. A hand-out to the party establishment's owners. Just as Bush turned government into a feeding trough for war profiteers like Haliburton, so the DLC is turning government into a feeding trough for their own corporate owners in the insurance, pharmaceutical, and banking industries.

The only difference between these two groups is they serve difference corporate factions, but they are separate groups.
