I am willing to wait and see...
what comes out of the Senate and House reconciliation of the healthcare bill. Simply because it serves no purpose - that I can tell - to keep criticizing it. It's hard to polish a turd but I will withhold judgement until I see what they can work out.

I have no desire to help the Republicans tear down this President and the Democrats any further. They are doing quite well on their own.

If I thought it would help to get a public option or a Medicare buy-in, I would continue to criticize. However, we are going to come up with much less, it appears? But I am willing to give them the time to work something out, in hopes that they can get something besides a gift to the insurance companies.

6. I'd love to see some calls to action here on DU. Some semblance of organization.

Some interest in finding pro-active things to do together.

3. Since there's little else we can do, that seems a sensible
approach. Clearly we aren't able to influence the morons in the Senate who are obstructing anything decent.

4. At least a few of us have looked behind the curtain.
Now I don't feel quite so alone.

5. When it's passed it will be far more difficult to change
Better we should all be paying close attention NOW, and bombarding Congress with calls and letters to try to sway them at this stage.

8. I'm taking a wait-and-see attitude toward waiting and seeing.
But unless they go to reconciliation, nothing worthwhile CAN emerge -- LIEberman and Ben Noisome have made that abundantly clear.
