Another Fox News poll that exceeds 100 percent
News Hounds reports that on the December 17 O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly showed a graphic of a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll about favored political parties. O'Reilly's production led the numbers to exceed 100 percent again, just as Fox did with a Rasumussen poll about climate change back on December 8.

I think I've seen other polls whose total exceeded 100 percent though because of respondents being able to answer multiple choices. Could anyone clarify me on that? Is this a serious editorial flaw on the part of Fox News or are we just bashing Fox News Channel as liberals stereotypically do?

2. I think they're doing it on purpose
to call all poll data into question.

4. Fox's stupidity comes from showing the data in a pie chart.
The reason you show data in a pie chart is to show what portion something comprises of the whole. A pie chart should not have separate sections which add up to more than 100%. If they used some other method of showing the data, they wouldn't have been slammed as they were.
