Secret Service needs to take Rich Little out
He is killing all of us, literally. I'm dying over here. If there was one thing the Bush Admin could do right, it would be to take him out.

3. I got in on the last half of this
He was doing a Nixon impression and not a terrible one, but nothing funny about it. You see, you can't just do a Nixon voice, you need to say funny stuff to make fun of him (or at least make fun of something) or what's the point? This drug on for maybe 10 painful minutes before he sang a bit in a God Awful singing voice and then finally, mercifully got the f*ck of the stage.

6. A comedy routine using a Nixon impression...in 2007??? How very sad.
But they got what they wanted...nothing too exciting or controversial.

What a pathetic choice...but perhaps they should stop having this dinner where the press and the Administration are shoulder to shoulder. Much too cozy. No great loss if it never happened again.

8. After the stellar performance of
he-whom-the-pukes-fear-to-name, I suspect they were under the gun to have as near zero controversy as possible. And this certainly qualified.

There should be none of this elbow rubbing between the "press" and the pols. I know damn good and well how people work, and, without being a total nutjob, you cannot convincingly attack someone you know and like.
Even when the powerful are total crooks and would have no compunction about throwing anyone into the grinder, if there is something about that person that you like or respect, you cannot resist pulling your punches, at least a little bit.
