I'm going to miss Al Franken on Air America Radio....
I think his show was great, especially with his co-hosts Andy and Billy....

I love the Hate E-Mail of the Day segment...That 2001 Space Odyssey is just hilarious...

2. Same here. Franken's show has been my favorite since the network
launched, even through that awkward launch period.

5. Not me. For the funny parts, he believed Powell on the war, slamed us on
the 2004 theft and just about 40% of what he says is plain wrong.

8. He wasn't perfect, and I held a grudge against him for that for over a year.
But he was funny and he did have good guests. Just not the go-to guy for political reality. For that we've got Thom Hartmann and Sam Seder.
I would like Al to do an occasional special and Joe Conason to be the regular news guy on Thom's show.

11. Randi is my reality gal - the others come next. But Conason should be there
as much as possible - maybe we need to make an appeal to Air America for that.

9. I like my talk radio current, so I will not miss Al at all.
I have always admired Al, but his show is alway SO Scrpt heavy. I like my talk radio current, and he is always 3 or 4 days behind on stuff. If news breaks and Randi is on, I know I will hear about it. If it breaks while Al is on, I will hear about it on CNN.

Just my thoughts

10. I much prefer Thom Hartman
He is much more knowledgable and doesn't try bad comedy when there isn't anything funny about the situations this country is in.

12. I always loved his guests especially Tom Oliphant. I hope one
or more of the other AAR hosts pick them up and feature them on their shows.
