Is Dr. Dean interfering with the legislative process?
Read it here on DU. How could any good Democrat believe that?

1. How asinine! He's a citizen free to express his opinion like any other.
I can't believe someone actually said that.

7. No, that would be Lieberman and the other Rs.
Dr. Dean is merely a private citizen expressing his well-founded concerns. If that constitutes legislative interference, then Murdock and the rest of them have strangled and buried the legislative process.

11. He has the same First Amendment rights as we all do, and he also has
the same right to petition the government. Some people need to STFU or go back to FR.

It's a very brave thing to do these days when we are bombarded with corporate propaganda.

19. Quite the contrary...
speaking out is the legislative process...that's how we hold our politician's feet to the fire. If he's guilty of interfering in anything, it would be the massive ripoff of the American people by the insurance industry.

22. Hey, there IS a point there: telling the truth is INTERFERING with the legislative process.
And encouraging lawmakers to vote for the good of their constituents is yet another interference with the legislative process. For that matter, suggesting a reasonable strategy to address the country's problems is a major interference with how legislative process works in today's America.
