Republicans must be laughing their asses off
First they scam the American people with the summer of fear mongering.

Then they get the Democrats to give away the store to the insurance companies, big pharma, and the medical industrial complex, something they probably never would have gotten away with. There were be huge dividends gained for the millions invested through the lobbyists and campaign contributions.

Their secret weapon, Joe Lieberman, scuttles any thought of a public option (even a shitty one), Medicare buy-in, or any control over the rapists we call insurance companies.

And when Obama signs this piece of shit bill and the Democrats get done congratulating themselves on their fine work...

The Republicans will have a ready-to-go 2010 campaign strategy. Blame the Democrats for increasing taxes and creating a government mandate that all must buy insurance from these scum while not providing any benefit to the poor schlub stuck with his shitty, expensive insurance.

And guess what? They'll have a great argument because they'll be right.

2. They're not right, at all. The watered down bill is mostly their fault.
And yes, I consider Holy Joe a Republican.

5. This will backfire on them.
If there's no public option or even health reform, people are gonna be pissed like never before.

7. "Joe Care"
will be the club the republicans use to beat the living shit out of the democratic party in 2010 and 2012.
