Indiana Elementary School Kicks Allah Out of Holiday Program
Indiana Elementary School Kicks Allah Out of Holiday Program

What’s the world coming too when a holiday program in the heartland of America can’t even have a mention of Allah in it without some crazy nutty Christian group getting mad? That’s what happened in Indiana, Allah was booted out of the Christmas program. What a shame.

An elementary school in Fishers, Indiana was trying to be all PC for the holidays; including Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Hanukkah, and Las Posadas. Seriously? During the program there was a line that stated that “Allah is God”. And they didn’t see the offense in that I suppose?

Anyway, the American Family Association decided that was a bit too much and protested via their electronic newsletter. The school decided to remove Allah from the program. School officials say that they made the change because no other deities were named in the program. How do you have a Christmas program and not mention Jesus? I’m just saying.

Of course it doesn’t end there. The Muslim Alliance of Indiana is mad now because they feel Islamaphobia has led to Allah being removed from the holiday program. Whatever happened to singing a few Christmas Carols and calling it a night? Seems like every small town holiday program or play either ends up in the paper or in court. Geez.

1. It's easy to have a Christmas program and not mention Jesus...
just make it all about Santa and Frosty and Rudolph and snowflakes and presents and trees.

3. Nah, Christmas has *nothing* to do with Christ.
That's why we call it ... oh, wait. Oops.

5. LOL..exactly. Which is why most of the public schools here...
who want to have concerts/performances/parties just prior to the Christmas/New Years vacation call them "Winter Concerts" or "Winter Parties" and on and on.
