First off, that's the theme song/jingle being used for a Kaiser Permanente commercial. The song and the message are perfectly matched. The song has gotten our attention and we like the intent (Kaiser is NOT the subject of this thread) Has anyone else heard it? Was the song written and performed and then picked up by Kaiser or is it just a jingle?

It's Michelle Shocked, which is kind of surprising since I wouldn't think of her as the type to sell her stuff to a big insurance corporation.

9. She may not own the rights to the song.
What record label is she on?

13. Even if she wrote it, someone else could own the rights if she sold them.

5. Setting aside the commercial
I've seen her perform in person and her voice is so powerful and moving. She is a dynamic live performer. If you get the chance to see her, take a chance.......... :)

7. I didn't direct, write or produce it. I merely linked to it. But your opinion is noted.

10. Was everything spelled OK, though?

15. I'm an old gay guy and I think it's my theme song, now. LOL.
It's a remarkable television ad and I agree it is "perfectly matched" to the song. Marvelous.
