I'm confused. Why did Alan Grayson vote YES for the bill to defund ACORN?

As we know, Rep. Alan Grayson (Florida) became a hero among progressives when he argued that defunding ACORN was unconstitutional. But the roll call shows that he voted YES for defunding ACORN, according to both DU and a right-wing site:

Kucinich and the top African American in congress, (Rep. Clyburn), for example, voted NAY. Is this a contradiction in Grayson's behavior?

...radical RWers that fall under the definitions of the bill. I'd heard he was compiling a list for exactly that purpose.
