Not all Democrats are progressives

And not even all progressives are Democrats... but one thing is as sure as shit: THERE ARE NO PROGRESSIVE REPUBLICANS.

ANY progressive legislation would be tough enough to get through with only Democratic input.

Including Republicans in the mix is just a more tortured way to get things watered down, or just plain fucked up completely.

The formula is simple: EXCLUDE THE GOD-DAMNED REPUBLICANS and Challenge Democrats who ACT LIKE REPUBLICANS.


I have no idea why this shit is too hard for the DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP.

2. Honestly, I don't think they do.

I've always believed the purpose of the DLC was to undermine the Democratic party from within, and that's the one thing they have actually succeeded at, unfortunately. Even though Howard Dean's 50 state strategy and a massive turnout in the last election gave us a Democratic majority that should have been able to do whatever the Hell we wanted, and told the Republicans to go fuck themselves when they complained about it.

The fact that these so-called "Democrats" deliberately sabotaged that opportunity and left us with endless war, fucked up "health care reform" and million dollar bonuses for criminals being branded as "economic recovery", is sufficient evidence of how anti-Democratic they truly are.

And they are as brazen as brazen can be. They never intended to anything for the voters and I suppose they find it damn inconvenient to be ostensibly in the majority. It shows them for the hypocrites they are.
