How's Lionel doing on AAR?

Putting him on ended my problem of deciding between Sam Seder and Stephanie Miller. Not much of a contest now.

Someone was filling in for the Sam Seder show, but it was not Lionel. Can't remember his name.

9. He was our Madison local guy

Lost him after the election when we almost lost Air America completely. We love him, he was fantastic at the local stuff. Maybe not quite ready for a national gig, although I am glad he gets the chance to fill in- good experience for him. I know he talks fast when he's nervous.

We used to have him on air 6-8am M-F and Madison is political enough - he did tons of local interviews and it was fantastic. But it costs a lot to salary a local person I guess. Hope we get him back.

Considering the type most likely to even turn on AAR I think Lionel may be hard presssed to get much of a following.

I like him, but I think that Randi said that Stacy Taylor, who fills in for her at times, will be doing part of the fill in until Lionel starts.

I just wish that AAR would stop playing the ads for Sam, it's almost as if they're just trying to really piss me off!

8. I've been in a funk all week

I'm tempted to answer the Mark Green/AAR e-mail I got yesterday with a nastygram. What a crap move that was. I'm still pissed.

11. AAR execs are fortunate Lionel the gun nut didnt go on air this week

With VA tech and all, he would have instantly made green look like a fool for his decision. Now it will take 5-10 minutes of his first show instead.
