Bucketsful of cash to the Too Big To Fails.

Nothing to Main Street.

Now that the Recession is rivaling the Great Depression, those Bucketsful, once offered with no limits to the Too Big To Fails until they burped and pushed back from the pig trough, then held tightly in Washington rather than shared with the country, are now being proffered as some help for us little guys.

I guess I'm still resentful that the big guys got helped while we little guys got sympathy and platitudes and, in effect, a hope for some trickling down.

I thought that economic notion went dead with St. Ronnie.

And maybe it has.

Now its just plain old sloppy seconds.

1. They piss on our shoes

and call it trickle down. The notion's not dead. It's become part of the cannon.

2. Stinky, we have a whole generation coming up who cut their teeth

on the trickle theory of economics. Not sure what it will take to expunge it from the national vocabulary and I don't think I'll live long enough to see it happen.
